| Jabez Called: God Answered |
"And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested."
I Chronicles 4:9,10 KJV
We are praying the prayer of Jabez for our church. We are calling on God to enlarge our territory and grant increase both to individuals and to the church body as a whole. We know that it is God's will for us to prosper and be in health, even as our souls prosper.
Apostle Perry is teaching us to expect physical prosperity as a result of keeping our souls prosperous in the Word and in right relationship to our Heavenly Father. Prosperity is directly tied to both our relationship with God and our relationships with one another.
