The year 2008 was a year of new beginnings, but 2009 will be a year of manifestation. It will be the year that the Lord will reveal the secret things as they pertain to your prayer and works of faith.

But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. Matthew 6:6

For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. Romans 8:19-23 KJV

When Moses was a child he was hidden in the bulrushes. His true identity was concealed while he was raised in the house of Pharoah. In God's time, He spoke to Moses and called him to lead the children of Israel out of Egyptian bodange. Then Moses' true identity was revealed to Pharoah and everyone in the land of Egypt.

When Pharoah refused to let the Israelites leave, God manifested His power in the display of the 10 plagues. When the children of Israel were trapped between the Red Sea and Pharoah's army, God's power was again revealed as Moses stretched forth his rod. 

Much later when Moses ascended the mountain of God to intercede for the people, his countenance was changed by the power of God's presence. The fact that Moses had been with God could not be hidden.

So it will be in this year of 2009; God will manifest His power within His people. His glory will be revealed in the earth. It will be evident who has been in prayer and who has not. God will reward openly, all who have labored in the shadows.
